From the 40 going east, take 89 South at Ash Fork till you go through Chino Valley. After passing through town, watch for a church on the right and turn right at Outer Loop Rd. Careful for animals on the road, especially at dusk and nighttime. Continue up Outer Loop until you reach its end at Williamson Valley Rd. Turn Left. After passing the Granite Mountain Trailhead on right, about 3 miles down, watch for a T turn at Glenshandra. Turn left. We are the first home on the left. Slow, use blinkers and be careful as there is no left turn lane and traffic behind you must slow or stop.
From the 40 going west, take exit 146 toward Ash Fork / Prescott on 89 south. Continue with directions above.
From Phoenix, take 17 north toward Flagstaff. Merge onto AZ 69 via exit 262 through Cordes Junction Rd. / Prescott. After about 21 miles, watch for Fain Rd. a couple of lights after the Young’s Farm sign on right. Go Right on Fain Rd. It becomes 89A. Stay straight on 89A going past exit at Viewpoint, then you know you stayed straight. Do not turn toward the right on 89A toward Jerome or Cottonwood. 89A becomes Pioneer Parkway. Continue to the end of Pioneer Parkway, ending on Williamson Valley Rd. Turn right and go about 3 miles to mile marker 6, and Glenshandra Dr. Turn Right, we’re the first home on the left.
From Los Angeles / Palm Springs
Take Interstate 10 through Palm Springs, through Blythe, and into Arizona. Get gas in Arizona, either at Beacon (5 miles in) or Quartzite (20 miles in). It’s cheaper than California. 30 miles after crossing into Arizona on Interstate 10, take Hwy 60 to Prescott. Go 55 miles on 60 to highway 71 past Yarnell. Turn left at Kirkland Junction. The sign says “Kirkland Hillside, Skull Valley”... watch closely! Turn right at the first stop sign you come to (about 8 miles at Kirkland). About 10 miles later you’ll pass through the small town of Skull Valley. Don’t blink! There’s a gas station on one side and a country store on the other.
Approximately 20 miles after Skull Valley you will come to a stop light at Williamson Valley Road. Turn left on Williamson Valley Road (only goes left and there’s a fire station on the corner). Go 6 miles out Williamson Valley Road to Glenshandra.There are mile markers on the side of the road, green stakes with the number. Watch for mile 6. Turn right on Glenshandra (only way you can go). First house on left is ours.
From Gunsite Training Center:
Directions from Gunsite Training Center: Take 89 south to Outer Loop Road, turn right. When you get to the end at Williamson Valley Road, turn left and go about 3 miles to a T intersection at Glenshandra. Turn left and the home is the first house on the left. About 15 miles.
