We’re Jay and Linda Riley and have been married for thirty five years. We’ve enjoyed meeting and greeting new friends together for all that time. We have been foster parents for a quarter century and have adopted 3 sets of siblings, 8 children in all, just one left at home. We moved to beautiful Prescott, AZ in 2004 and are in love with the area.

Jay is a retired pastor who served for more than thirty years in a non-denominational church in Southern California. He has traveled throughout the world to assist in missions and aid projects, such as getting water to an AIDS orphanage in Uganda, preaching and building up orphanages throughout central India, and assisting in a current clean water project in Cambodia. He loves people and loves to get involved. He now works in the foster care field and also enjoys visiting with guests at Blessing Retreat.
Linda has lived and loved a number of roles, as primary school teacher, director of a non-profit, public speaker, book author and freelance writer. She is still writing in her “spare time” but primarily enjoys her new role, making every guest comfortable and full at Blessing Retreat.
Abby, our friendly labradoodle, and Mr. Riley, our mellow golden retriever, just love greeting the guests. They also enjoy tummy rubs, tickles behind the ear and any other attention they can get. No treats from the table, though! Every room is equipped with lint rollers in case they loved you too much.
